Terms of service
Terms of service
These terms cover your use of this website and any order you place with us. Placing an order means you accept them. Nothing here removes your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. Who you are buying from
NouxNails, Winterswijk, Netherlands, trading as Noux at nouxnails.com. Contact: nouxnailsde@gmail.com, or the contact form. We aim to answer within one working day.
2. Prices and payment
Prices on this site are in pounds sterling and include any applicable tax unless stated otherwise at checkout. If you are shopping from outside the UK you may see your own currency, converted at the rate applied by our payment provider at the time.
Payment is taken at checkout through the methods shown there. We do not see or store your full card details. Your order is accepted when we send your confirmation email, not when you click pay. If something is out of stock or mispriced after you order, we will contact you and refund you in full rather than quietly substitute or overcharge.
3. Your order
The Starter Kit is a build your own bundle. The designs you pick during checkout are recorded against your order, and the free designs included at each tier are shown before you pay. What you see in the buy box is what you are charged. If a design you chose becomes unavailable before dispatch, we will contact you to swap it rather than send a different colour without asking.
4. Delivery
Covered in our shipping policy. Delivery windows are estimates from the point of dispatch, not guarantees, because the final leg is with a carrier. Risk in the goods passes to you when you or someone you have nominated takes physical possession of them.
5. Returns, refunds and cancellation
Covered in our returns and refunds policy, including the 45 day window, the first week replacement guarantee, and your statutory 14 day cancellation right.
6. Using the product safely
Noux is a semi cured gel strip system with a small LED curing lamp. Follow the instructions in the kit. Do not use the strips on damaged, broken or infected skin or nails. If you have a known allergy to gel or acrylate nail products, do not use them. If you get irritation, stop using the product, remove the strips with the removal oil, and if it persists get medical advice.
Keep the lamp and the kit away from children. The lamp is for curing nails and nothing else.
We describe wear time as around two weeks, based on our own testing. Real results vary with nail shape, how much your hands get wet, and how carefully the strips are applied. That is a description, not a promise about your individual nails.
7. Claims we make on this site
We try to keep every number on this site accurate and current, including prices, wear times, review counts and savings comparisons. Savings figures compare our kit against typical UK salon gel manicure prices and are illustrative, not a quote for any particular salon. Product photography shows the product in use and colours can look slightly different on different screens.
8. Your account and conduct
If you create an account, keep your login details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has them. Do not attempt to interfere with the site, scrape it at volume, resell our content, or use our brand, photography or copy without permission. We can refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse, and we will refund you if we do.
9. Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or for business losses.
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that goods be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.
10. Your privacy
How we handle your data is set out in our privacy policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
12. Law and disputes
If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom, you get the benefit of any mandatory protections of UK consumer law, and you can bring proceedings in the UK courts. Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have under the law of the country you live in.
If something goes wrong, contact us first. Most things are fixed with one message, and we would rather sort it than have you escalate it.
