I've never applied gel myself. Can I really do this? +−
Yes. The kit is built for first-timers. The lamp detects your hand automatically, the gel is self-levelling, and the guide walks you through five steps. Most people get a clean manicure on the first or second go.
How long does one application take? +−
About twenty minutes once you've got the routine down. Prep, place the strip, cure, file the edge, top coat. The guide takes you through it step by step.
How long does it really last? +−
Three weeks of wear on average. We promise 14 days as an honest minimum. If a strip lifts in the first week, we'll send a new pack free.
How many manicures do I get from one kit? +−
12 to 14 applications with the 20 strips included. The lamp lasts 10,000+ hours. Strip refill packs: $24 per 20 strips.
Will the strips fit my nail shape? +−
Every kit has 20 strips in 8 sizes, from narrow to wide. Before curing you can slide and line up the strip, and after curing you file the free edge into your shape.
What's in the kit? +−
An auto-cure LED lamp (6W, 10,000-hour lifespan), 20 pre-shaped UV gel strips in 8 sizes, a top coat, a soak-off remover, prep tools (file, buffer, cuticle pusher) and a step-by-step guide.
Safety & ingredients.
Is the UV lamp safe? +−
Yes. Our LED lamp runs at 365 and 405 nm, both non-ionising wavelengths with no UVB. The timed 60-second pulse sits well below dermatological limits. If you want to be extra careful, put sunscreen on the back of your hands before curing.
Will the gel damage my natural nail? +−
No. Damage from gel manicures almost always happens during removal, not from the gel itself. We use an acetone-free soak-off formula: 8 minutes in our removal wraps, then the strip lifts off. No filing, no scraping, no thinning.
Is Noux HEMA-free? +−
Yes. HEMA is the methacrylate most often responsible for nail-related allergies on patch tests. Noux is HEMA-free, DI-HEMA-free and TPO-free, stricter than the EU requires. It's also 12-free (no formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, camphor, xylene, parabens, TPHP and more), vegan and cruelty-free.
Can I use Noux during pregnancy? +−
The formula is free from HEMA, DI-HEMA, TPO, formaldehyde, toluene and DBP, the ingredients most often avoided in pregnancy. If you're unsure, have a quick word with your doctor or midwife.
How do I remove the gel? +−
With the acetone-free soak-off formula: 8 minutes in the removal wraps, then the strip lifts off the nail. No filing, no scraping, your natural nail stays as it is.
