How do Noux strips fit my nails?
Every pack holds 20 strips in 8 widths, so there is a fit for each nail. Press the closest width on, then file the excess away at the tip.
How do I remove them?
A few drops of the Noux Removal Oil around the edge, wait a moment, and the strip lifts off in one piece. About eight minutes for both hands, with no scraping.
Can I use a base coat underneath?
Yes. If your nails are soft or peeling, a base or strengthener underneath is fine and will not stop the gel curing.
Do I need a top coat?
The kit includes the UV top coat, and we would use it. It is what gives the two-week gloss.
Will they damage my nails?
No. Nothing is filed off your nail and no acetone soak is needed, which is where most of the damage from salon gel comes from.
Can I use them while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Yes. The formula is HEMA-free and vegan. If you have any doubts, check with your doctor first.
Can I use a different UV lamp?
You can, though cure times vary by lamp. The Noux lamp in the Starter Kit is matched to the strips and cures in sixty seconds.
Is the UV lamp safe?
Yes. The strips need only a very low dose to cure, so exposure is brief and far lower than a salon gel appointment.
